I look forward to this every year and I would like to buy a copy. Unfortunately, none are available.
Holiday Affair, the very best one! December 13, 2009 Cindy Elias (Massachusetts) We enjoy this version of Holiday Affair more the previous ones. We like the chemistry between Cynthia Gibb's character and David James Elliot, as well as Curtis Blanck who plays Timmy and Tom Irwin who plays Paul. This is a feel good movie and quirky too. If you've never seen it before, it's exciting because the plot takes unexpected turns and has a nice ending. Great for the whole family, a movie we can watch with our children. I hope this will be available on DVD soon!
I love both versions! December 8, 2000 A. Felton (Sacramento, CA USA) 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
I saw the original version of this movie starring Robert Mitchum years ago. I saw the updated version last year and just watched it again. Holiday Affair is a sweet, romantic story. The updated remake is just as sweet and romantic. The actors in both versions all do a great job. Heartwarming fluff....the best kind!

I saw this on cable recently and truly enjoyed it. I spent about 3 weeks trying to track it down on video.
Very enjoyable movie. I thought Cynthia Gibb was great in her role. It's a nice family movie. For me, it was a must-have.
